Join Denisa Livingston (Diné Nation), Appointed Member of the Champions Network of the UN Food Systems Summit, and Ken Paul (Wolastoqwey Neqotkuk First Nation) Lead Researcher & Negotiator of Fisheries of Wolastoqwey First Nation, to discuss all the forms of traditional harvesting, the importance, current challenges, and ways to carry forward practices for future generations. Denisa and Ken will be joined by Kerry Prosper, Mi'kmaq Nation, to speak about fish harvesting including American eels, and Lorraine Netro, Gwitchin Nation (in Old Crow, Yukon, Canada) to speak about caribou harvesting in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
