The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is committed to helping the Indian Health Service (IHS), Tribal Health Programs, and Urban Indian Programs (ITU) to maximize their ability to access third party resources. To meet this objective, CMS, in partnership with the States, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration, the Office of the Inspector General, and IHS, provides training to patient benefits advocates on the programs and benefits available through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

- Patient Registration staff
- Medical Records staff
- Purchased and Referred Care staff
