The theme is “Keeping the Promise: Supporting Community Wellness and Strength”.
The Direct Service Tribes National Meeting is an annual meeting that brings together and encourages input and facilitates feedback on behalf of Tribes receiving healthcare services directly from the IHS.
It is an open meeting for all to attend and will primarily gather Tribal leaders, health providers, and health care officials who are committed to raising the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level. The conference attracts presenters and participants from across the country who want to share their success stories and strategies in addressing some of the top Direct Service Tribes health priorities, while providing opportunities for networking and partnership to take back lessons learned to local communities.
