The White/Wiphala Paper on Indigenous Peoples’ food systems: Collective evidence gathered by Indigenous Peoples to contribute to the UN Food Systems Summit.

The White/Wiphala Paper on Indigenous Peoples’ food systems was written to inform the global debate about the transformation of current food systems to make them sustainable and resilience, It advocates for the lessons that can be learnt from Indigenous Peoples’ approach to food, lessons that will contribute to the resilience and sustainability of food systems worldwide, as well as supporting the wellbeing of Indigenous Peoples.

The UN Food Systems Summit parallel session will provide evidence on the sustainability of Indigenous Peoples’ food systems, including the ways in which they have proven resilient over time.
